What if you change the order of information, "After the death of their father a naïve teenager resorts to smuggling drugs for a Colombian cartel in order to take care of his younger brother but when his boat is sabotaged and the drugs are lost, the cartel kidnappees his brother as revenge." also I think it needs more info in what the teen needs to make it now in order to save his brother. Great concept and it sounds like an amazing and electrifying story.
