A budding voyeur gets more than he bargained for when he finds a key to a stranger's apartment and succumbs to curiosity.

SYNOPSIS:

Sidney lives alone. Haunted by recurring dreams of a lost childhood innocence, he has conspicuously avoided human contact in both his professional and personal life. A slave to routine and an incurable voyeur, he caps off his evenings of office window gazing with nightly visits to a local go-go bar. There, from a safe distance, he watches and fantasizes about Adrianna, a gorgeous exotic dancer with whom he imagines he shares some unspoken connection. William has been breaking into Sidney's apartment. Charming and handsome, he appears to have it all—a great job, a beautiful wife, and the admiration of his peers—but he secretly longs to escape. So after accidentally loosing a key from a neighbor’s doormat following a night of Scotch and poker, he can’t resist the urge to enter. Enchanted by the bizarre artifacts and otherworldly décor within, William returns night after night, checking his identity at the door and basking in the glow of this unsuspecting person’s world. But Sidney's world is about to change. After witnessing what appeared to be a murder outside his office window, he quickly finds himself shadowed by mobsters bent on finding out what he knows. And even more harrowing, he’s suddenly thrust into contact with Adrianna on his walk home one night. Claiming to have fled a mysterious stalker and desperate for protection, she begs Sidney for sanctuary and he predictably submits. But she’s not what she seems, and Sidney is soon swept up in a torrid affair and a deadly game of cat and mouse. A game that William will unknowingly alter. Forsaking his perfect life for the illusion of greener pastures, William descends into voyeuristic obsession. And as his addiction grows, the transgressions escalate: from pilfering personal items to masturbating in Sidney’s bed and spying on Adrianna while she sleeps. And after inadvertently uncovering her complicity with the mob in a plot to pinch a priceless jewel from Sidney’s safe deposit box, he steals a folder from her purse, setting off a chain reaction that can only end in Sidney’s death. But Sidney won't go down without a fight.
