SYNOPSIS:
Nearing the end of his life, ninety-year-old Jesse Polk exists somewhere between reality and remembrance, which causes his memories to crash into the real world and flow backward and forward in time, creating a fragmented puzzle of his troubled life. Even as he battles his failing mind, Jesse struggles to prevent his estranged daughter Ginny, now his caregiver, from selling their North Carolina homestead to pay back taxes. Unable to face the inevitable, Jesse retreats deeper into memory and realizes that the one thing he has never accepted from himself, nor anyone else, is forgiveness. He has one last chance to redeem himself for his role in a tragic childhood accident that set the course for his entire life and holds the key to mending his relationship with Ginny.
