LOGLINE:

Left behind after a Taliban attack on a remote US outpost, an entitled young soldier and a seasoned vet have to learn to get along to survive.

SYNOPSIS:

Two Army scouts, Private Kevin Peck and Sergeant Chris Keen, are tasked

to establish a mountain observation post (OP) when their remote patrol

base is overrun by Taliban fighters. Their parent unit forced to flee,

Keen leads Peck deep into the mountains where Keen resolves to continue

their mission while they wait for recovery.

They have five days' supply and a working radio, but when dawn reveals a

sizable Taliban force in a compound directly below their OP, it's all

Keen can do to keep Peck focused. His inexperience and poor attitude

threaten their survival. Keen must turn Peck around before he gets them

both killed. They must learn to trust each other. Two men from two

different worlds. One mission: Survive.

'BLOOD COUNT' has been optioned several times. It was a
