SYNOPSIS:
“WHITE DRAGON SYNOPSIS” By Jeremy Hunter Colombia, 1971, Frank Sharp travels by speedboat with his young son Victor to a tropical island in the middle of the Atlantic to meet with Coke Lord, Antonio Leglasious. During the tense meeting Frank is forced to make a decision, kill his friend Julio Vasquez or let him live and take the risk of making an enemy out of one of Antonio. Frank comes to a decision and lets Julio live; Antonio kills Julio regardless and turns the gun on Frank. A few words are shared between the two, Antonio is about to pull the trigger and kill Frank when… Victor rushes into the small shack and hugs his father fearing for his life. Antonio, who has a family of his own, allows Frank and his son to leave the island. Frank hesitates and concentrates on a silver briefcase he arrived with before leaving the shack. Frank and his son ultimately get in the speedboat they arrived in and speed off into the Atlantic. Victor questions his father and asks why this man had a gun aimed at him; following a massive explosion within the center of the island Frank explains for the first time to his son that he is a drug dealer. It’s fifteen years later; Victor is now a writer hard at work on his first screenplay “Naziville U.S.A”. Frank arrives at his son’s studio office and explains that there’s a drug deal the following night that Victor needs to attend. Victor agrees to attend the deal just as Winston Channing, Victor’s boss and the producer behind “Naziville” enters the office. Winston and Frank share a few harsh words before Frank finally leaves the office. With Frank gone Winston explains that he wants the screenplay on his desk by the end of the week, the day after the drug deal. Victor arrives home; he lies down on the couch and watches T.V with girlfriend Christina Dougan. Victor brings up the idea of her getting a job which Christina seems a little hesitant about. They go to sleep, the next morning Victor awakens and heads into the master bedroom. He enters a combination in a floor safe and removes a one kilogram sealed bag of coke. As Victor prepares to snort about half a gram Christina appears in the doorway. Victor attempts to hide the coke but there is no use, Christina knows. Christina and Victor have a soft spoken conversation which escalates into a full out yelling match after Christina mentions the idea of rehab. Victor becomes worried; both for his screenwriting and the possibility that Christina might discover what he and his father really do in their spare time so he breaks up with Christina. It’s later that same day; Victor arrives at a strip club, “The Splitting Aces” owned by an associate of his fathers, Gage Bryson. Victor and Gage talk, through their conversation it’s made clear that Victor hasn’t made any money through the dealings he and his father have conducted over the years and that he feels taken advantage of. When Victor mentions that he broke up with Christina, Gage brings up a story from the past supporting his belief that Christina is crazy and how Frank had to talk him out of killing her. Victor reacts by smashing Gage’s nose into the bar railing. Victor then leaves the bar, it’s clear he isn’t over Christina. Victor arrives home, he yells out Christina’s name a few times hoping she is there but she is not. Exhausted, Victor lies down on the couch just as the phone rings which Victor answers. Victor is told by Frank to meet him at “Sharp Industries”. About an hour later the father and son meet. Frank shows his son a Venus De Milo statue and asks him what he thinks. Victor becomes annoyed; he and his father have an argument mainly about how Victor feels like he’s been taken advantage of over the years which leads Victor to bringing up his absent mother and why she left. Frank explains to his son that he’s in no position to bring up his wife when his girlfriend is as crazy as they come. Once again Victor overreacts, threatens to punch his father and ultimately explains that that night would be the last night he dealed drugs with him. Shortly after Victor leaves. Victor arrives home; he sits in his office struggling to finish the final pages of “Naziville”. He later finds himself standing above his bed looking at an indent in the mattress left by Christina. As he apologizes for forcing her to leave Christina appears in the doorway. Victor apologizes, they make up shortly after. A couple hours later, Victor awakens, Christina is asleep in the bed, and he looks to her, kisses her and promises that everything will be perfect after that night. Victor then enters the safe combination, removes a couple hundred dollars from a stack of cash and a .32 caliber pistol which he attaches to his ankle. Victor leaves shortly after. Victor arrives at “The Splitting Aces” which is now packed; a few strippers dance center stage as the all-male audience watches on, one of the audience members is Winston Channing who witnesses Victor head into the V.I.P section where the meeting is to take place. Victor enters the V.I.P section where we are introduced to Colombian born drug dealer, Alfonso Stefano. Also attending the meeting are Gage, Frank, and a couple bodyguards of Alfonso named Nemo and Diego. Right off the bat Alfonso shows an interest in movies and explains his childhood dream of becoming an actor which he discusses with Victor. The conversation goes from calm to tense as Alfonso tells a vivid story of how he killed a young family in Colombia which gets a reaction out of everyone in the room. As the conversation continues Alfonso tells how his father was set up by some coward fifteen years earlier, just then Antonio, now covered in burns enters the room. Frank becomes pale white as his past dawns upon him and after he discovers that Gage sold him out. Victor and Frank are left alone with Nemo and Diego who each hold a .32 caliber pistol with silencer to their side. Frank brings up the possibility of someone witnessing the murders which causes the two armed men to argue about what to do. As they argue Victor goes for the .32 caliber on his ankle which Nemo notices. An all-out battle for survival begins soon after and ends with Nemo and Diego shot and killed and Frank left with a gunshot wound to the chest. As Frank bleeds out he confesses to Victor that his mother didn’t really leave and that he killed her after she found out about the coke business. Victor pulls a gun on his dying father just as Alfonso and Antonio enter the room. Alfonso removes a .45 and aims it at Victor; Victor does the same and aims his .32 on him. Antonio pleas with Victor to set down his gun, Victor doesn’t listen, Antonio questions the tears which leads Victor to telling him that Frank just confessed to killing his mother. Antonio brings up some startling news about Frank having killed Victor’s half-brother who was there the day of the explosion which forces Victor to then turn to gun on his father and question him before finally shooting him. With Frank dead Victor paces around with tears in his eyes, Alfonso laughs until Antonio kicks him out of the room before approaching Victor. Antonio apologizes to Victor before making him an offer which consists of him showing up at a meeting in Colombia which would change his life forever. The following morning Victor shows up at the studio having completed the screenplay to “Naziville”. He is surprised to find Winston seated behind his desk who seems a little impressed that Victor completed the screenplay, even after going to the strip club the night before. Victor becomes nervous which leads to relief after he realizes Winston didn’t witness a thing. Victor asks Winston for a week off which Winston allows. Victor and Christina then head to Colombia. They arrive in Colombia, Christina, who is exhausted stays at the hotel while Victor heads out to meet with Antonio. Victor arrives at his Ocean side mansion and the two discuss life in general among a few other things. Antonio eventually tells Victor that he wants him to direct his son in a feature film funded by him. Victor seems a little hesitant but agrees to meet with Alfonso to discuss the movie. Before Victor leaves Antonio tells him that he has someone for him to meet. That night, Victor meets the seemingly normal half-brother of Victor’s deceased brother at a popular nightclub in the heart of Colombia. This man who Victor meets is Emilio Leglasious who is really a sociopathic serial killer rapist who hides in plain sight. They have a seemingly normal conversation which is a disguise for Emilio’s sadistic tendencies, before Victor leaves Emilio, who feels at this point he has befriended Victor mentions that he wants out of Colombia and that he is willing to help Victor run the coke empire Victor’s father left behind. Victor warms up to the idea before he finally leaves. Meanwhile… Antonio, Alfonso and father of Antonio’s deceased wife, FREDERICO SABROSO sit down and watch Scarface. They talk about the mistakes of Tony Montana which leads Alfonso to asking his father if he met with Victor. It’s not long before news hits Frederico that he let the son of his enemy live. Not too long after a few armed men enter the house killing Frederico. The gun men are killed, three by Alfonso, and one by Antonio who brutally beats the remaining gunman to death with a baseball bat signed by Lou Gehrig. Both men know who was responsible for the attack, Tommy Brownstone. Its the following morning, Victor awakens and calls Antonio who seems more than a little distracted with the mess at his house. Antonio agrees to have Alfonso meet with him at The Hiltons hotel restaurant later that afternoon. Victor meets with Alfonso and Emilio, right off the bat Alfonso makes it clear that he doesnt plan on being Victors friend which escalates to an argument between the two and eventually an attempt on Victors life by Antonio. Emilio stops the violence before it ever happened and leaves to the bathroom. Victor and Antonio sit alone, Victor brings up what happened in L.A and tells him that hes not about to become one of his victims. Just then Christina appears at the table. She heard everything, Victor chases her down, Emilio, who has since finished going to the washroom has spotted her. Victor follows Christina into a back alley, the two have a heated argument which ends in Christina telling Victor that she doesnt want anything to do with him ever again. Victor heads back to the table and tells Alfonso that hes not gonna make the movie, Alfonso becomes heated and makes a threat on both Victors life and his girlfriends which Victor ignores. Its late that night, Victor drinks alone at a local bar, Christina does the same and drinks alone at the local nightclub Victor and Emilio met at the night before. Christina drinks alone, Emilio approaches and offers to buy her a drink. Its the next morning, Victor arrives at the hotel to find Christina decapitated, assuming that Alfonso was the one responsible Victor heads to Antonios mansion to face and kill him. Victor arrives at Antonios mansion with a sawed off shotgun which he aims at Antonio who is immediately caught off guard. Emilio, who sits at the kitchen table immediately sides with Victor as Victor explains what he arrived at the hotel to discover that morning. A couple of Antonios armed guards fire at Victor, one misses and shoots Antonio in the chest. Victor fires off a shell killing one, the other is shot and killed by Emilio. Antonio and Victor confront each other, Antonio goes for a gun on his chest, before he has the chance to remove it Emilio fires and kills his uncle. Victor is more than a little surprised as Emilio agrees to take him to Alfonso. On a nearby island Alfonso and Tommy meet. Things go from bad to worse as Victor and Emilio approach in the speedboat, an all-out gun war goes on between the three parties which ends in Tommy, his men and Alfonsos all ending up dead before Victor realizes that Emilio was the one responsible for Christinas death. As Victor and Emilio fight for the knife on his chest Alfonso fires and kills his cousin leaving only him and Victor alive. Victor tells Alfonso that Antonio was shot and killed by Emilio. Alfonso points out that his father died on that exact island in nineteen seventy one before finally letting Victor go. Victor leaves no longer being an enemy of Alfonsos. Victor arrives back home and faces Gage. Victor discovers the real reason behind why Gage sold out his father which has to do with Victor`s deceased mother. Ultimately Victor tells Gage that he plans on taking over both the coke business and the movie business in L.A and that he needs his help to make it happen. The two agree to help each other which starts off with the sequel.
