SYNOPSIS:
In 1964, aspiring author Noemie is writing a book about her younger sister, Manette & her relationship with fiancé Maurice, which she is convinced will become a romantic masterpiece. Manette & Maurice’s fun and passionate relationship soon turns dark as Manette, a girl of the streets, becomes is convinced her fiancé is unfaithful and murders him.
An unsuspecting and rich Policeman, Jean Clark soon meets Manette & is convinced that the murder is not on her hands. The two fall in love & Jean begins to discover the dark secret that Manette holds. Noemie’s novel is now turning into a story she never wanted to tell and she begins to resent her sister for ruining her dream novel and committing such a heinous crime. When published, ‘The Name Has A Price’ reveals the truth about Manette, breaking Jean’s heart and twisting his fate. Manette is soon sent to jail and Noemie’s novel gives her the 15 minutes of fame she so desperately longed for.
