A young white woman joins a group of climate refugees who migrate to Africa for survival following the freezing over of the rest of the world due to a shift in the Earth's crust caused by global warming. Given historical racial and wealth inequalities, how will indigenous Africans relate to them now that the tables are turned?
SYNOPSIS:
Soon after the earth's crust shifted and most of the western and eastern worlds are frozen over, a luxury cruise ship that was stranded out in the ocean with now poor and homeless Americans, Europeans, and Asians docks on a beach on the East Coast of Africa. While there are tensions between the climate refugees and the indigenous Africans, a young black African man falls in love with a young white American woman. Will their love help mend the present and historical differences between the two groups of people?

Interesting premise.
Hi @richard, thanks for the great feedback. I have been toying with this idea for a couple of years and have now developed a script for the pilot episode. The reversed roles have created for me many scenarios to satirise modern issues like racism, inequality, power, unorthodoxy etc. I'm a black African speaking through both black and white faces and its alot of fun. I hope to get the funding and production team through this platform so feel free to refer me to anyone who is into Afrofuturist themes like Black Panther
