A young house cleaner depressed about her life discovers the Apocalypse is just the fresh start she's been searching for.

SYNOPSIS:

In the year 2025 the Apocalypse finally happens. Planet Earth has had enough abuse from humans and fights back: skies rain fire, oceans turn to blood, Kim Kardashian loses millions of followers; real Wrath of God type stuff. Month's later all that's left is a desolate, ashy planet covered in the detritus of what once was. The air is too toxic to breathe without a mask, and the sun will cook you alive if you stay out for too long without protection. But our hero JOY JOHANSEN, a twenty-something, gamer-geek loser, finds out she's pretty capable of taking care of business when protecting herself in the post-apocalyptic Wasteland. Before, she lived alone with her pet goldfish, Toad, and streams her video game sessions on Twitch to zero fanfare. But now her many years of gaming out on video games unknowingly made her a badass with the skills she needs to survive.
