Attempting to ignore and outrun a crisis pregnancy, Jolene arrives in Denmark to the surprise of her estranged best friend, Jamie, with a fanciful plan to advance her struggling singing career. 

SYNOPSIS:

Jolene wants you to know that she’s doing just fine.

Sure, she’s 27, single, still living at home with her co-dependent mother, trying to pursue a career in music through social media, while trying to pay the bills by gigging as a wedding singer... But she’s got her... health? And her frequent skype calls to gay best friend Jamie living the high-life in Copenhagen for the last year when he was invited to join the Royal Danish Theatre. But she’s not at all jealous... Well, not not jealous.

However, things take a turn for the dramatic when a drunken one-night stand leads to an unplanned pregnancy and a slight break from reality. Rather than confront her problem head on, Jolene takes a one-way flight to Copenhagen to pursue her dream, ride Jamie’s coat tails and forget all about the ticking time bomb inside of her.

But as days turn into weeks in Copenhagen and she begins to see what a difference a little delusion can bring to her life and career, will Jolene ever face up to her crises at home and the one that followed her to Denmark before it’s all too late? And what will become of Jamie and Jolene’s friendship once the lies have been stripped away and they finally learn what the other has been getting up to during their time apart?
