A Stanford Law Graduate, eager to change the world, ends up at the right hand of cult leader Jim Jones. But undoing his mistakes, and bringing Jones down, costs him everything in the end.

SYNOPSIS:

This story is based off of the biography "Marked for Death" by Jim Jones' personal attorney Tim Stoen. Stoen was there through the building of The People's Temple and was ultimately responsible for leading the group trying to bring Jones down. This limited series follows Stoen's journey of good intentions from the passion of the late 60's through Jones ultimate mass "suicide" that not only took the life of almost 1000 people but Stoen's only son.
