About Regina

Because Stage 32 users tried to send me unsolicited submissions, I no longer participate in the Stage 32 Lounge or in Direct Messages. My Direct Messages inbox is NOT checked or read. I can be accessed through Stage 32's First 10 Pages Review, Pitch Deck Review, Adaptation Review, and Career Development Call program. I can also be reached through LinkedIn for professional consulting services, in which you sign a contract-for-hire for my services, which includes a non-disclosure clause for you. Do NOT send unsolicited submissions; I report Unsolicited Submissions to Stage 32.

BIO --

I have developed and supervised film and TV projects for Universal Pictures, 20th Century Fox Film, FBC (Fox TV network), BET network, ABC, 20th TV (TV studio), New Regency Productions, New Line Cinema, Summit Entertainment, MRC Film, Lifetime TV, Lionsgate Digital, HBO, Starz, CBS, The CW Network, Sony TV, Paramount TV, Talent International (Beijing), as well as for independent financiers.

In addition to producing, I consult on script/story and the current marketplace, and I'm proud to say I've helped 2 indie movies get made. As a consultant, I've also helped international filmmakers secure development funding and reputable US agency representation and management.

I am volunteering as script reader for Mentorship Matters (https://www.mentorshipmatters.tv/). Previously, I volunteered for the CineStory Foundation (CineStory.org), a nonprofit educational screenwriting institute which grants writing fellowships and runs nonprofit writers' retreats. I've been a guest speaker for the UCLA Producers Program, the UCLA Summer Symposium in Entertainment, USC's Movie Business Seminar, the North Carolina School of the Arts MFA program, and an NYU Alumni screenwriting panel. I was invited to represent Universal Pictures at the Tribeca Film Institute's Tribeca All Access. I also volunteered on the Advisory Board of a female-run production company called Arcadia, based in Sydney, Australia.

SCRIPT CONSULTING - I can provide rates for your consideration. I also provide clients with a draft of a contract that protects both you and me. Please reach out through LinkedIn, and in your connection request, specify that you want consulting rates. Do not send unsolicited submissions; I report unsolicited submissions to Stage 32. Thank you.

AS A PRODUCER, I cannot accept unsolicited submissions. Please note that I have to follow standard industry submissions guidelines. If you send me any material unsolicited, it will be permanently deleted UNREAD. This policy is in place to protect both you and me. I will not be able to read it or click on the links of story material. Why is this standard policy in Hollywood? Because of potential "you stole my idea" lawsuits. It's really too bad that exposure to "you stole my idea" accusations has led to a "closed door" policy that is hard (but not impossible!) to break through. The good news is that there are very legitimate ways to break through the closed door, like winning screenwriting contests and pitch fests, and querying those agents and managers who do accept unsolicited submissions. Thank you for understanding.

Unique traits: My dad was a college professor, so my love and respect for teaching runs deep. I work in both live action and animation, features and series, and with US and foreign talent. I have a conversational command of Mandarin Chinese, and I speak near-perfect "Chin-glish"! I was selected to attend the prestigious Center Theatre Group's Social Media Lab.

When Matt alone gets caught red-handed for a prank with the school band's instruments, present high school counselor Sherman 'Sherminator' finds great pleasure in taking revenge on him for the misbehavior Steve excelled even worse in, so instead of expelling the little prick, he condemns him to take part in band camp at Great Oaks, where Jim Levenstein's still understanding dad is filling in for the feared problem counselor. As there are plenty of girls in the competing bands, Matt hopes to turn his (mis)fortune around by smuggling in camera equipment including a robot to shoot saucy, clandestine material for his counterpart to Steve's hit video "Girls Gone Wild", an at least as 'revealing' Bandies Gone Wild. ...
