The Flag (2006 - 2007)
Film (short) by Innovative Renderworx Writer/ Director Vietnam, 1968. While America fights a desperate war in the surrounding jungles, many soldiers have found themselves in the hands of the enemy. Within the dark recesses of a Vietnamese prison compound, an American prisoner has reached the limit of what he can endure. He has suffered brutal treatment and torture at the hands of his captors for over six months and has seen unspeakable atrocities against his comrades. Broken and without hope, he begins to believe that his only escape is to end his own life. But his perspective soon changes when he begins to listen and communicate with the prisoner on the other side of the wall from him. Through this new friendship, he ultimately discovers that hope does exist even in the midst of the darkest of circumstances.
