About Rick
I have an abiding love for emotionally resonant stories, which has resulted in a long track record of IP development for global entertainment leaders including ABC Television, Cartoon Network, HBO, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures, The Walt Disney Company, and Warner Bros.
Before pivoting to screenwriting I had an extensive career in narrative game design, including five years on the senior management team at video game publisher Electronic Arts, where I ran the Stories group.
Equally at home with the creative and business aspects of storytelling, my work has been widely recognized and awarded, including a Mobile Game of the Year nomination and numerous high-level screenwriting placements including the Academy Nicholl Fellowship (Top 5%), Austin Film Festival, and the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards.
My screenwriting 'brand' focuses on themes of social impact, and is populated with flawed characters chasing redemption in the wake of generational wounds.
