About Rita

Rita Fazendeiro was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal.
A child of the 90's absolutely passionate about arts, music, sports and fashion, when the time came it seamed only natural to enroll in Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon. It was during those years that her love for film developed, so one can say it was truly love that made her move to New York where she studied Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy.
Back in Lisbon, Rita worked for 2 years as a regular VJ at a nightclub which allowed her to start experimenting with music and video. Alongside, other projects were happening and what at the beginning was "making videos for friends" became more serious and her portfolio start growing.
In 2010, Rita moved to Prague (Czech Republic) where she worked as a Creative researcher for 1 year at a production company. Confident that now she had everything needed to conquer another city, Rita moved again.
Currently, she is based in London, however if there is enough free time, probably it won't be difficult to find her enjoying Lisbon, with her beloved family and dogs.
