Samuel Gove

Born and raised in Western Massachusetts, Sam Gove is a skilled and professional Director of Photography. The son of a film director and model-turned-producer, Sam has been involved in film production and advertising since childhood.

Sam is an expert in Final Cut Pro as well as Avid products and is experienced in high-end digital acquisition (HD and above). He specializes in digital and mobile video compression.

The go-to film director for Darby O'Brien Advertising, Sam has produced commercials for such clients as the Republican Newspaper and Springfield Medical Associates. His music video credits include Vanna, A Loss for Words, and Therefore I Am.

A student and avid fan of the movie industry, Sam brings not only technical expertise but also a creative and informed perspective to all of his work. He acts as lighting director, cinematographer, gaffer, and art director on his various shoots. His talent and proficiency has found him work in commercials, promos, web series, music videos, long and short form documentaries and independent features.
