About Brandon

Director/Screenwriter/Producer Brandon E. Brooks has over ten years of experience in front &
behind the camera. During this time frame, he’s scripted over forty feature & short film, and TV
pilot screenplays. He’s directed and produced a half a dozen projects, including the independent
horror film Acrimony, the independent short film Coffee Thoughts & numerous House of
Hardcore pro wrestling event documentaries. Brooks has also assistant directed the independent
drama Look Hard, and produced short films like the award winning drama Simply Untitled,
which was directed by filmmaker/actor Robert X. Golphin (The Great Debaters). Brooks
assisted in casting for films such as M. Night Shylaman’s Signs (Mel Gibson), Killing Emmett
Young (Tim Roth), and Miami Vice (Colin Farrell). Next, Brooks assistant directed a
television pilot titled “Franklin Charter”, which starred Laurence Lau ("All My Children"),
David Forsythe ("Another World"), Charlie McDermott ("The Middle"), and Amy Carlson
("Blue Bloods").

In late 2006, Brandon was the unit production manager for the third film in the “Unknown”
trilogy, titled Gone, which starred famous supermodel turned actress Angie Everhart (Bordello
of Blood). Next, he assistant directed the thriller Aftermath, which stars Edward Furlong
(Terminator 2) & Monica Keena (Freddy vs. Jason). Brooks produced a thriller out on DVD
titled The Quiet Ones (Courtney Gains, Reggie Bannister), and currently is the producer of a
psychological drama titled A Man Possessed (Tommy Dreamer, Elizabeth Saint), which hits
the distribution market worldwide winter 2018. He also directed and produced an action horror
thriller he scripted titled Sickness (Brian O’Halloran, Katarina Leigh Waters). Brooks recently
completed three feature film screenwriting jobs, the first an action thriller titled Riker. The
second, a whimsical fantasy drama titled A Brooklyn Fairy Tale, and the third, a period piece biopic
titled Be Tough. He's currently a producer of the independent crime thriller Not for Nothing, which is
set to star Mark Webber (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), Lauren LaVera (Terrifier 2), Peter Patrikios ("Gotham")
& Brendan Sexton III (Boys Don't Cry).
