About Stephen

Stephen Dean is a multi award winning Director/Producer and creator of Dean Film Works LLC which is based near Atlanta, Georgia USA. Mr. Dean is a native Georgian originally from Cleveland, Georgia. Stephen now resides in the Flowery Branch, Georgia area. Stephen is a former Deputy Sheriff with five years law enforcement experience. He is Georgia P.O.S.T. certified and has specific training in handheld firearms, hand to hand combat training, as assisted in S.W.A.T. training for a multijurisdictional task force. He has served in the positions as an environmental law enforcement officer, night/day shift patrolman, school resource officer, warrants and civil division officer, and as a detention/booking officer. Mr. Dean has several college degrees including an associate's degree in criminal justice from Lanier Technical College, an associate's degree in Business Administration from Gainesville State College graduating with honors, and a B.B.A. Bachelor's of Business Administration in Marketing from The University of North Georgia graduating with honors as Cum Laude . Stephen has been an avid/elite level cyclist/bicycle racer through USA cycling for approximately 20 years. Stephen is also an avid motorcyclist and has been involved in street and motocross riding for over 20 years. Stephen loves creating various forms of theatrical and commercial film projects. he also loves the collaborative process, networking, and multitude of challenges that filmmaking brings to the table.
