About Sukru

Sukru Ozcevik was born in 1988 Izmir, Turkey. He is graduated from Anadolu University Photography and Cameraman Department. I am currently studying International Relations at the same university.

On September 2014, he took the courses about film and photography in an art studio. At the same time he joined short film workshops.

He began to his career as a cameraman assistant on November 2014 and then he became director assistant on December 2014. After that he has joined lots of short film projects.

His first scenario writing and directing experiment was with “Sistemin İpleri – String of the System” in 2015 which he has joined 12 film festivals while 10 of them in abroad. With this film he has offers for official selection and finalist.

In 2017 he directed fictional short film "Noradrenalin - Noradrenaline". In 2018, he shot the fashion film "I Am".

Also he was an online jury in the short film category of “London Indie Fest”

He has also worked with wedding photographer. Now he is freelance. commercial promo, fashion film, music video and etc. He continues to work in such positions as scriptwriter and director.

He has established a production company called "ozcevikfilm" on the internet and supports short films.

Typewriter (2017)
Film (Short, Comedy and Drama) Producer Kübra is 25 years old and a newly graduated civil engineer, however she refuses to do this job because of her ideals. She is unpleased with the hegemonic system of the world and she wants to show her world view by using art. Kübra prefers poetry to show her ideas to people, but she is untalented in writing poet. Kübra who doesn't want to accept this situation, is impressed from an old typewriter which is located on antique shop and she makes herself believe that if she takes the typewriter, she will write very good poets.
