About Sylvie

As an actress, Sylvie Bolioli filmed her first feature as the lead, playing Rose Montefiore in the supernatural mystery "Leave Now". She has also just appeared in NBC/Universal/Working Title TV series "Apocalypse Slough' as Sister Françoise.

Sylvie made her directing debuts in advertising, with TV commercials for Mexican television. She had previously written, directed and produced a series of radio commercials for various brands including Pepsi Cola. She has some experience of stage directing with the play Breaking the Silence, performed at the Etcetera Theatre in London.

Her first film, the short movie "Gas", based on a story written by Alfred Hitchcock has been very well received by the critics and has been widely covered by the press, among which were the BAFTA magazine 'Academy' in which Sylvie was featured in the 'Talent Spotting' section, The Hollywood Reporter, The Mail on Sunday, The Scotsman, BBC Radio and a feature on ITV national news.

"LAW & DISORDER: the Insanity Defense" is Sylvie's first documentary and first feature length movie. "Insanity Vault" is a short spin from "LAW & DISORDER: the Insanity Defense", shot entirely at the Norwich State mental Hospital in Connecticut, USA. The hospital has since been torn down.
