BIOGRAPHY
Born in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
Peceno completed Information and Technology studies graduating as a System Analyst.
During his professional journey as a teacher and while lecturing, Peceno discovered his true vocation for film. After several experimental shorts, he moved to the US to pursue an education in the Performing Arts at Brooks College, Long Beach California.
In 1995, Peceno returned to Spain and received an Advanced Degree in Directing at the CEV in Barcelona, setting off a career as a Director that took him from Barcelona to Madrid where he also received a Master Degree in Television at the Complutense University in association with Telemadrid Television.
Peceno then taught Multicamera Directing and Production in Malaga at a training course run by the Andalucian Council.
In 2000, Peceno returned to the Canary Islands and became professionally established in Gran Canaria by working at the Field Directing Department for the Canarian Television News Services, a position he combines with directing independent short film.
In 2010 after receiving several awards he moves to Los Angeles, getting two awards with his first project, a documentary short film, later he was involved in a SAG official project as film director during 9 months acquiring all the knowledge about how the Hollywood film industry works.
In 2012 the government of the United States of America declared Peceno as an extraordinary talent in film directing.
In 2013 Peceno comes back to Canary Islands with several projects he wants to develop in his home town.
