About Walder

I am a producer, composer, sound editor, and mix engineer with over 35 years in this industry.  

I own La Galera Multimedia, an audiovisual production and post-production studio founded in Argentina in 1990 and now based in Spain.  

As a sound editor/mixer, I worked on four Prime Video movies and am working on a Netflix production right now (March 2025).

I worked both as a composer and sound editor/mixer on six award-winning movies like “Fireland Dogs”, “The Power of Dialogue”, “Summer’s Nightmare”, “La Última”, and more recently “My 7 Grandmas”.  

I have produced and published music for singers and bands from Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, and the USA under my music label La Galera Music.  

My post-production studio is Dolby Atmos-ready and fully equipped with analog and digital processors to ensure the highest possible quality for each project.   

For music production and film composing I work with some real instruments like Spanish guitars, electric guitars and bass, and some world percussive instruments. I also have a huge library of the best virtual instruments from NI, 8Dio, Cinescapes, UVI, and more.  

My studio is a Pro Tools Ultimate-based studio capable of handling projects up to 192K/32-floating bits which guarantees loss-free conversion and exporting processes.

I have extensive experience in audio post-production for films including dialogue editing, backgrounds and ambiences, foley recording, scoring, and mixing. My studio incorporated the post-production facilities in 2001.   

I work with the best tools for each stage like iZotope RX, Acoustica, Clear, SpectraLayers, and more to get a clean and natural dialogue sound. My studio has a special room for foley recording and can also manage field recording if needed. When mixing, I can deliver multiple mix files for different purposes and following specific loudness requirements.

My background includes more than 30 films I worked on, IMDb credits, awarded movies, and productions from different countries like the USA, Australia, Germany, Canada, Argentina, Spain, El Salvador, and much more.  

As a composer and music producer, some of my songs have been featured in advertising for Unilever, Coca-Cola, and Microsoft, among the films I composed for.   

As a sound editor, I have extensive experience in editing, mixing, and mastering podcasts, audiobooks, and other digital audio content.  

I meet all the technical requirements from Audible, Prime Video, Netflix, AppleTV, Apple Music, Spotify, and all TV and streaming platforms, among sound specs for cinema.
