About Walder

Hey, I'm Walder!

I'm a seasoned composer and sound designer/editor/mixer with over 34 years of experience in the industry. I've worked on literally thousands of projects, from creating songs and arrangements to producing albums, composing music for theater and film, and designing sound for movies, audiobooks, and games. It's been a wild ride that's allowed me to push my boundaries and keep my creativity flowing.

I started my career back in the day of vinyl records and cassette tapes. Then CDs came along, and I witnessed the birth of digital platforms. I've worked with all formats, what has strengthened my expertise in recording, mixing, and mastering music to different standards.

My passion for creating music and the constant quest for the "perfect sound" led me to explore sound design and post-production for film, video, advertising, and video games. It would take forever to list every project I've worked on, but you can check out my portfolio for samples in each category.

Music: You can find my published productions on digital stores under the label "La Galera." You can also check out the song "La Guapa - Valentin Lauro" on YouTube (I can't add links here). It's a great example of my work as a producer and mixing/mastering engineer.

You'll find my credits as a composer, dialogue editor, sound designer, and mixing engineer for the films I've worked on. I've participated in an award-winning documentary in the USA and two Hollywood productions, one of which, "My Seven Grandmas," is premiering worldwide in 2024.

Video and Advertising: You'll find various work samples in my work history and portfolio on Upwork. Some of my clients have been Microsoft, Unilever, Coca-Cola, and other major brands.

Video Games: I design music and sound for all types of games and platforms. I've worked with companies like Blaze Gaming and TouchWon.
