About Malin
Looking for new opportunities all over the world:
I am passionate about environmental awareness, conservation and education. I am driven to create a sustainable, harmonious future for society and the environment by combining my unique background as an environmental educator, media manager and conservationist.
With my 15+ years of experience in the not-for-profit and the educational sector, covering environmental, conservation and educational issues, I'd like to use my knowledge and experience to assist the NGO-, educational- environmental and media sector. I have experience working in developing countries, partnering with NGOs, politicians, schools, governments and U.N associates as an initiator, spokesperson and leader for several programs/campaigns to create change and awareness from community level to international level.
My unique international education and media background with a double Masters in International relations & International communications as wells as first-hand wildlife experiences from the Arctic in the north to Antarctica in the south makes me a strong candidate in PR, education, media presenter and as speaker and social media manager for a conservation/environmental organisation or program.
As an educator and campaign leader I have a strong leadership and spokesperson background. I also value the strength and influence that social media has and I always make sure I have reliable resources and background information before I take on a campaign/program.
I've been based in Australia since 2001 but I'm now looking for opportunities in all over the world: I'm fluent in Swedish and I've previously reported live for TV4 Sweden and been a guest on national radio talking about illegal whaling in Antarctica.
