About Wouter

Wouter got the degree of ICT as result of a bachelor study in Ghent. Facinated by the power of film, Wouter took classes at Syntra West Bruges where he learned how to direct, produce and edit a movie. He graduated in 2012.

Wouter created and directed already some award winning projects:
- How can I help (Grand Remi Award for 'Best student production' (also known as the 'Steven Spielberg award') at WorldFest, Houston)
- ExtraZ (Gold Remi Award for 'Best Original Comedy' at WorldFest, Houston).
He is involved in creating some other Belgian projects (short/feature/series) aswell:
Salamander 2, De Bunker 2, Long Live Stefan, Layla, Brussels, A Broken Man, Jordy, Persiphone, Fc De Kampioenen 2, Cordon 2 and Le Ciel Flamand...

After winning his first award he joined the Belgian Directors Guild.

In 2015, Wouter was a Jury member on the Leuvens Holebicontest FilmFestival.

Er is iets raars met dit meisje maar we kunnen precies niet duiden wat. Nadat een jongetje haar tampons helpt kiezen loopt ze naar de kassa. Wanneer de kassierster vraagt om te betalen weet ze niet echt wat te doen. De kassierster stuurt haar dan maar de hoek om naar de bankautomaat. Vanaf dan begint haar zoektocht om geld. Deze zoektocht loopt echter niet zo vlot en het wordt steeds duidelijker dat Persiphone niet veel van deze wereld afweet. Wanneer ze eindelijk geld vindt, keert ze terug naar de winkel maar daar is juist een overval aan de gang. Persiphone wil gewoon haar tampons kopen maar wanneer de overvaller haar bedreigt, verliest ze haar geduld en ontdekken we waarom ze zich al de hele tijd zo vreemd gedraagt.
