Barry Jackson’s designs and artwork have contributed to the look of over 20 feature films including Shrek, The Nightmare before Christmas, Ron Howard’s The Grinch, and Horton Hears a Who, The Prince of Egypt, and Firebreather.
He has worked as a professional artist for musicians such as Neil Young, The Grateful Dead, ZZ Top, and The Band.
He directed animatics for interactive games such as: Medal of Honor, Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth, and Strike Force.
Danny Diamondback, his first children’s book, published by Harper Collins, which he both wrote and illustrated, teaches that an individual has the power to transcend a stigma. His screenplay based on this book has been optioned, financed, and recently announced as a production at Cannes.

Many of her cartoon tie-in toys come to life, to help find her stolen piggy bank, ending up in the boy's room, finding Michael's stash of drugs, and also finding out that Michael was the one who stole Corey's money to buy marijuana! The various cartoon characters then proceed to band together, and take Michael on a fantasy journey to teach him the risks a life of drug use can bring.
