  The Power of Dreams - Episode 1 (Pilot) (version 2) Adventure ⋄ Comedy ⋄ Drama ⋄ Family ⋄ Independent ⋄ Other ⋄ Sports Alegra Cruise is an 18 year old girl who keeps having recurring dreams on the few days leading up to the start of her University life, these dreams depict events that will later come true and she doesn't know why these dreams come to her but she thinks that will distract her from her education and bringing her popularity from high school to her new surroundings.

Her dream predicted an event that prevailed on her 1st day and now not only it being hard being new, she is now called a psychic by everyone but does she really want instant popularity.

  Taking the risk - Chapter 1 (What is the meaning of change?) Kayla is a skateboarding tomboy who gets a makoever from school princess Brittany in order to become pouplar. The story centres around 15 year old Kayla who attends Waterfall Academy in Canberra. She rides her skateboard every where, has extremly short hair and dresses like a boy. School princess Brittany is also 15, she decides she wants to take this strange girl and enroll her in her life of expensive parties and after school activites. She works very hard to turn Kayla into a proper girl by giving her a makeover and through the chapters/episodes Kayla learns to build up her confidence and become the popular student she never thought she would be. Her best friend Brandon feels now Kayla is normal, he can try out for the Soccer team. Roxie is 12 and new to Canberra, after transferring from Queensland but she holds a secret and her new friend Dylan is determined to find out what it is. Brittany’s best friend Victoria feels the pressure when Brittany starts another after school activity without her and the fact Joshua (from the Cricket team) doesn’t belive in kissing.

  Taking the risk Chapter 4 (Climbing ropes of higher proportion) Kayla joins the after school Gymnstic club and is unliked by star girl Stephanie who is jealous that she may be overtaken as the best.

  Taking the risk - Chapter 3 (Kayla's living the high life) Kayla has had her makeover done by Brittany and it’s time for the fellow students to react, Victoria feels she has some competition and may be phased out if she is not careful.

  Taking the risk - Chapter 5 (A bit of patience hurts no one) Rain doesn’t tempt Roxie to go to school but she has to and her Mum has an idea on how to help the difficult challenge. Dylan confesses he knows about her water allergy. Brittany tries to find a boyfriend for Kayla to take to a socialite party. Christopher seems interested but Kayla turns him down. Mr Cummings takes art class and teaches Roxie and Dylan something that involves sprayed water. Kayla meets Brittany’s cousin Justin and takes him to the party, the 2 kiss leaving Brittany speechless.

  Taking the risk - Chapter 6 (Dylan's over expanding the limit) (Part 1) Kayla is nervous to start Horse Riding especially when Brittany leaves her and she meets Brittany’s rival Samantha who teaches Kayla how to mount. Dylan and Roxie head to Canberra Aquarium but it takes them 2 buses. Gerald the riding instructor introduces Kayla to Surprise, the horse Brittany bought for her. Brittany challenges Samantha but Samantha wins and Brittany regrets what she did.

  Taking the risk - Chapter 7 (Dylan's over expanding the limit) (Part 2) Dylan and Roxie walk round the aquarium, she has never been anywhere without her parents before. They head for lunch before Roxie decides she wants to take a gamble. She feeds the Dolphins and when they splash she backs away. Roxie is compared to Annie or more like an update version.

  Taking the risk - Chapter 8 (Romance and the reign of the Stuarts) Brittany’s father think her outfit is overdoing it. Victoria tells Brittany about her plans for Joshua. Kayla has signed up for the Maths tournament. The kids go to History where Mr Beckett explains that they will be covering The Stuarts. James I didn’t have an easy life and his mother was expected of murder. They discuss more new after school activites and Victoria feels left out now Brittany is spending more time with others.

  Taking the risk - Chapter 9 (Earning your social status) Kayla has lunch with Brandon and the others and is aware of the Netball squad who she is yet to meet. Kayla seeks revenge of the Hockey team who think she’s a fake. Brittany introduced Kayla to the students wanting to make the Netball squad, vice captain Che-ling is willing to encourage her. Kayla watches a game to watch how much pace is involved. Roxie discusses her home sickness with her Mum, she plans to tell her Dad she’s a mermaid. He gets home and she slowly leads to the subject and she tells him the truth before he gets up and walks off, unaware of how to react.
