SYNOPSIS:

The Power of Dreams centers on 18 year old (but looks nearer 12-14) Alegra Cruise, she is a Caholic girl from Decatur, Alabama who has an extraordinary dream the night before she starts at North Alabama University. She is now graduated high school and is heading to NAU to spend her next 4 years and gain BTEC's and Degrees. Her dream predicted an event that prevailed on her 1st day and now not only it being hard being new, she is now called a psychic by everyone and there are senior students who want to get her over-whelming intelligence put to good use but does she really want instant popularity. Alegra is a super geek and lives on a ranch with her Mom whilst her father runs the secret service in Tennessee. Alegra's dream the night before her 1st day at Uni about her senior girl breaking her leg on the outside pavement and the day after Alegra is talking to senior representative Madison who announces that she saw a girl breaking her leg during lunch and Alegra says that's unusual because I dreamt that last night. Alegra also has to plan her 18th birthday party because she didn't hold it a week ago due to her best friend Daisy being on vacation in Panama. Alegra has also taken interest from Madison who wants her to tryouts for the North Alabama Lions Cheerleaders but this'll go against Alegra's catholic morals about showing midriffs etc. Madison offers to tutor Alegra on a routine that won't fail to disappoint the fellow judges. If you want to vision what the main character resembles, think of a cross between Hailee Steinfeld, an environmentalist and a lot of knowledge like a super computer. I hope you don't mind that the pilot is protected by the Writer's guild of America, it is not important at the moment, it's only so it is legally binding if it gets to someone like abc at a future date. I have my idea written below and I developed the script for a 90 minute pilot (without adverts about 64 minutes)
