About Laura

Hi! I am a classically trained actor and improviser in New York City and the co-creator of the comedy web series, "47 Secrets To A Younger You" about working moms, everyday disasters and middle-aging not so gracefully. Neil Genzlinger of The New York Times said "Two of the most amusing moms to be found lately are on '47 Secrets to a Younger You'".

I grew up in a Norman Rockwell painting in Omaha, Nebraska but left all that insanity for the quiet calm of NYC armed only with my BFA in Acting, a subway map and a suitcase full of frozen steaks.

I have not only acted in many classical plays, but also teach Shakespeare in NYC public schools. I am also a very proud graduate of UCB and have performed with sketch and improv comedy teams in NYC and L.A.

I am currently working on writing season two of my series and auditioning for TV and film. I'd love to meet and work with talented directors, producers and actors in NYC.
