Jeremy Wechter is an enthusiastic, dedicated and innovative writer/ director who tells powerful, visual stories and evokes moving performances. He also teaches screenwriting, acting, and directing. Jeremy also offers script consulting services to individual screenwriters and production companies.
Jeremy's entertaining supernatural, cyber-thriller e-DEMON was released in 2018. Jeremy won BEST DIRECTOR at the New York City Horror Film Festival. e-DEMON is available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and so much more.
Jeremy has directed many short films in a wide range of genres for companies like Raw Impression Productions and Car and Driver Magazine. His short films have been licensed to companies including Volkswagon.
Jeremy co-wrote and directed the Off-Broadway musical comedy Little House on the Ferry. And he's directed a number of plays for various NYC theaters including Center Stage, Arts for All and The American Theatre of Actors. Furthermore, Jeremy has written screenplay coverage for companies including Goldcrest Films, Killer Films, and Scriptapalooza script coverage service.
In addition to teaching acting, Jeremy teaches screenwriting at Gotham Writers Workshop and is the founder of Directors Access Workshop where he teaches his ACCESS method for directing actors. Jeremy Wechter earned his BFA at New York University (NYU), Tisch School of the Arts.
