I started acting in theater productions at the age of 9 and participated in over 10 theater performances
during my youth. A love of theater and politics steered me towards Political Science and Theater. Graduated with dual Bachelor of Arts from the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C. In 2005 I proceeded to New York City to explore the landscape of professional film. Once in NYC, I studied for two year at the Herbert Berghof studio where I was trained to Chekhov, Uta Hagen. At the sametime I entered the Digital film academy in Manhattan for a year and then transferred to the New York Film Academy to pursue a Degree in Film Directing and Production in 2008.
I have worked in over 30 feature films and TV shows. I have directed 6 shorts, 3 music videos, two 30 second spot commercials.
I was inspired by a former professor to use color and spirituality to storytelling, my fresh approach and concern for society through my films. In 2009 I moved to Los Angeles for additional training in directing and production at Universal Studios. In addition to producing, I continue to direct and write my own works. Craving the camaraderie of a larger creative community and hoping to expand possibilities in film production, Then I moved to Seattle, WA Currently I am writing and developing scripts for upcoming directorial projects and actively seeking to form new partnerships. My preferred genres include political documentaries, dramas, and romantic comedies.
