About David

David M Troop began writing short screenplays in 2011. Since then, he has written approximately fifty shorts for numerous online writing websites including , , and . His work can also be found on Shootin’ the Shorts, a blog featuring premium short scripts, on the website.


Several of his scripts have been produced including “Insomniac,” “The Diner,” and “Sex and Violins.” His 2013 short “Naughty” is currently in pre-production.


Although still writing short screenplays, David has begun work on two feature length screenplays - the criminal thriller “Insomniac,” and “Hell's Bells” a zombie horror film.


David and his wife Jodi live in Schuylkill Haven, PA with their two lazy dogs Max and Mattie.
