We have And, and if you come on board, please, please know what being a Producer means, the definition, and purpose of what BEING a PRODUCER means. Most Producers show up on a project and WANT EVERYTHING ALREADY DONE FOR HIM/HER, they just want to sit back and say, "I'm the Producer". I have produced Thousands of dollars out of my own pocket to know, there is a lot of work involved. My last short film cost $24,000 dollars, because I want it done RIGHT. Sets, props, locations, costumes, good actors. I juggled it ALL. So please be a badass Producer who can focus and multitask. Blood, sweat and tears is what it will take, to Produce a 135 minute feature length film set in a small town outside of Dallas/Ft. Worth. I am currently producing a feature film, but I need help from Producers (the more the merrier) with a wide range of experience in getting a picture funded and made. I write and Direct. The producing I do is getting a team that will help me with my vision and producing a team of keys, that will give me a good price on their fees. Looking to partner up with either a producer or Cinematographer to upstart a new movie company, on the strength of 1 film. Just as "A Nightmare on Elm Street" did for New Line. I ask that you please be in the DFW area so we can connect and meet person to person. DEFINITION "MOVIE PRODUCER": FILM PRODUCERS fill a variety of roles depending upon the type of producer. Either employed by a production company or independent, producers plan, and coordinate varioud aspects of film production, such as selecting script (already selected), coordinating writing, directing and editing (already done) and arranging financing. (lets stop here for a minute) I need a REAL PRODUCERS, who are in the DALLAS/FT. WORTH TX area, who, first off can help me get it in the can RIGHT. Then we will worry about HOW TO SELL OR DISTRIBUTE. The RIGHT PEOPLE (CREW AND CAST) and (VISION) is first. I do not want you to come on board if you don't like the script and just want the pay. You must truly like and love the script after you have read it, I find that it stirs up more PASSION to get the picture made. Producers, and Keys are the only ones who get to read it. Looking for a Production Assistant to work on a film project called "Socks". Additional information about the project can be found on my website.I am not listing this as a paid position because I can't guarantee compensation. If we can raise enough money by way of donations and grants, or if the film earns enough money from its release, then not only will I be paying every member of the cast and crew, but I intend to be very generous with compensation. I just personally don't have enough money to make any promises yet. I'm tapping out my savings just to produce this film and pay for every other unavoidable expense associated with it.On that note... the most immediate assistance I need from my PA is fundraising! This is simply an area in which I do not excel - I'm not good at asking people for money. We can collaborate on ideas and I will certainly help in every way I can. But I desperately need someone to take the lead on this function - someone who knows how to apply for grants, organize crowdfunding campaigns, organize fundraising events, and solicit donations. I'd also be asking you to help me manage and coordinate all other personnel. I like small groups, so the total cast and crew will only be about 12 people, myself included. You would essentially be my second-in-command, and I'll be looking to you for fresh eyes, fresh perspectives, and to challenge my ideas. I'd also ask you to be the location manager and manage craft services during the shoot.I'll accept applicants from anywhere - geography is not my main concern as most of this job can be done remotely. Filming will likely be in Utah or Nevada, but I will provide transportation to the set. I am currently in Oconto, which is a small town near Green Bay, Wisconsin.
