About Karen

I studied acting at HB Studio in NYC, kicked around the acting scene in Toronto for a few years, and then spent some time in the film industry as a PA and an assistant editor, which led me to realize that writing is what I really love. A screenplay I wrote was on the Disney Fellowship shortlist, I wrote several screenplays that went nowhere, and received government funding for a documentary that ultimately never got made. All of the above led me to become… a copywriter. Why? Because somebody was willing to pay me for what I wrote. I’ve left that job. I now create videos using whiteboard animation while actively marketing a screenplay I’ve written. I hope to create the videos for anyone wanting to promote their screenplay, short film, film idea, documentary, etc.
