When writing for television, Sarah's work so far is in historical fiction. THE OTHER WAR is set in the war of 1812 between 'Upper Canada', the USA, and the Indigenous nations caught in the middle. HOSPITALLER is set in 1190, an era of clashing power struggles between the papacy, the Holy German Roman Emperor, Kings, Queens and aspiring Lords, the Knightly Orders - Teutonic, Hospitaller and Templar - and the pagan spirituality of common folk.
