Acting : Basic question by David Reid

Basic question

As a testament to my newness to the industry - what is a SAG voucher?

Parker Reeve

A quick look on Google and I found the following; A SAG Voucher is your paystub from a movie/TV show. If you were hired to do background work on a SAG production you would get a receipt at the beginning of the day that you have to fill out and sign at the end of the day to log your hours, etc. It is proof of work on a SAG film and if you get 3 of these vouchers you will be allowed to join SAG. Curious myself (I'm not an actor) I looked at the SAG-AFTRA website. It is explained there, too. Would you like the link to SAG-AFTRA?

Parker - Thanks so much for the response.
