Non violent solving conflicts films

That's been worrying me for quite a long time, because I am not a violent person and even my favorite martial art was Japanese aikido. This time I decided to create a web-series that would be a kind of research - how people can solve problems in a peaceful, non-violent way, using natural movements of characters involved into a conflict situation.

I and my wife created a pilot film. By the way, just today I received news that our work, "Sunny's Park - A Meowing Tree" became a finalist of Delta International Film Festival in India. In this film we have a problem - trying to save his cat, a boy climbs up a tall tree and gets scared to climb down. Our lead helps him and the cat to overcome fear.

I love how similar situations are solved in Hayao Miyadzaki's films. I'm also a big fan of Tomm Moore's works - Wolfwalkers, Song of the Sea, The Secret of Kells. And I would be happy to learn more about this movements in animation and movies in general, as well as getting in touch with people who work in this direction. Please, share films with message of non-violent solving conflicts here, if you know ones. Thanks in advance.

I think the final resolution in Disney's Moana was brilliant, in that it showed that aggression and violence was not the solution, but instead it was love. I think this direction is imperative in content for kids.

Bob, thank you for reminding of Moana - I love this film - and its final is really great - we cried watching it, really. I'd wish that this approach would be imperative for kids media.
