Keep an eye out for Hundreds of Beavers, an indie film that is unlike anything you’d see from a major studio. It’s a throwback to silent films and Looney Tunes, with video game logic and a ton of clever After Effects animation.
And the animation is not meant to be realistic, because it works with the exaggerated tone of the film. Funny and ingenious.
I love the zaniness of it and the retro style.

saw it in a theater with a sold out crowd. people went nuts for it!
They are having a showing in March in Los Angeles - going to try and make it.

OMG!! Hundreds of Beavers looks brilliant! It looks like they're creating such a fun community around that, too. I can wait to see it.

For their road show of the picture, the director did a boisterous q&a, very funny. There were several mascot-costume-wearing actors there, who then confronted the lead actor in a wrestling bout. No joke!
