RB's April Challenge (day 16)

Here's a video tribute to DP Jeff Cronenweth. All I can say is kickback, relax and enjoy. My favourite is 'Dragon Tattoo'. http://nofilmschool.com/2016/03/capturing-david-fincher-nightmarish-real...

The Millenium Trilogy; The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, is a wonderful series of books. Made into a mini-series in Sweden, and then the re-do by Fincher. If you are a fan, you owe it to yourself to watch the Swedish Trilogy. With a budget of just over $5M it uses film-making, experience and artistry to create, what I feel, is a much better picture compared to the over $90M version. Watch them back to back and wonder where the money that didn't appear on the screen went. Jordan Cronenweth, Jeff's father, was a great DP.

Great share, Geoff. Always love the Fincher vids. And terrific challenge, Andrew. Agree wholeheartedly.
