Florin Şumălan , wow has it been this long ? LoL. Seemed Goldsmith did a great job making the scary music, because, ... most of the time, those scary places did not have music lead ups. Maybe a few mins before the action from the Alien. Did you watch all of these ? I watched most of them.

Kerry Kennard , I like very much the "Alien" score from Jerry Goldsmith. I don't understand much why...there is something in it, some notes, some themes, mystery, the unknown...
One of the things I like the most are the "oscillating flute chords", maybe two very simple notes, but combined together and with the right instrument I think it creates something special.
At around 41:25 they talk about it in this podcast episode.
I don't know what do you mean when you say that you watched most of them. Most of the movies scored by Jerry Goldsmith? Or the episodes from the podcast?
