CARPE NOCTEM - an action thriller that explores the current conflict between scientific progress and militant religious believers, a "taboo" subject that many producers shy away from, opens up these modern issues through character dialogue and non-stop action. We have fiscal sponsorship and are looking for professional fundraisers experienced in grants and reaching out to foundations and donors. We are open to work with new talent, and are seriously looking for crew, locations & actors for this upcoming project to be filmed in Connecticut, and at least partially in Boston or NYC (Manhattan). If you live (or can work) in the area, please introduce yourself.

Short or feature length? Paid crew or volunteer? Just my opinion, spring is a long ways away for any crew person to commit to any project.
Feature length. Not asking for commitment, I just need to know they exist and perhaps know a little bit about those interested in participating. The intent is to raise funds pay for production and marketing; of course, being a non-profit effort, we don't mind volunteer help.
Never heard of a film being a non-for-profit venture. Anyway, my CV is on my profile.
When a movie is made as an expression of things you cannot otherwise articulate, reaching out to foundations who understand the importance of the message and setting up as an NFP is actually more and more common; I am certainly not the first to do it. It is a new trend, though. Thank you.
Dan, when ready, please post your production position needs in the "Jobs" section, found in the upper menu bar. That's where members post various "want ads" for crew, actors, creative partners, et cetera—paid or not paid. The forums are for topic discussion. Thanks and best to you!
