You don't need to go to school to be a PA. just have a driver's license and common sense.

I have. They are. They are sponsored by Quixote. I believe the person that created it was/is a line producer. Here's my caveat to this. If you have P.A.'d on any set before most of this will not be useful. However if said person is signing up and never set foot on a set before this is the most practical hands on experience most will get. The instructors are A.D.'s of the tough kind. The kind you will find on your first day of work, as an inexperienced PA. Knowing how to respond on a walkie....learning the language... huge.
