Casting around my area has been difficult. Ive decided to expand my horizons. I have an actor out of state interested (keep in mind I'm trying to keep the budget very low) whom has more pull socially. I feel uncomfortable to ask for her to maybe become a producer as well being that the film is in a development hell (mostly on hollow promises and sometimes narrow mindedness). I dont know. Maybe its me wanting to stay in a comfort zone

Hi Jay - it sounds like you may need to re-evaluate those that are currently involved and perhaps seek a new team. Hollow promises and narrow mindedness is not going to help move your project forward. It sounds like the actor is a promising addition, so why don't you talk with her and see if she'd like to start fresh on a new team?
