15 Years in Campbell River | CEO of BGW FILM STUDIOS | Launching Indigenous Success Stories on ROKU

Hello Stage 32! I’m Bill Williams. For the last 15 years, I’ve been proud to call Campbell River, BC, my home. During that time, I’ve seen our local film community grow, and I’m excited to be a part of its future. I run BGW FILM STUDIOS, where we are currently producing the Indigenous Success Stories Franchise. We’ve just launched our own dedicated Network on the ROKU Channel to champion First Nations, Métis, and Inuit self-reliance. My journey is one of extreme resilience—from surviving the residential school system and near-fatal abduction to overcoming major physical and developmental hurdles. I’m here to connect with fellow producers, directors, and writers who want to collaborate on high-impact stories that prove anyone can thrive. If you're on the Island or working in Indigenous media, let's talk! Don’t let nobody stop you.
