Distribution Solution?

Hi wonderful people!

Located out of one of Hollywood's newest hub's Atlanta, GA! I have an independent pilot that I've been sitting on and I'm trying to find a way to get it distributed nationally/internationally. I'd love to connect with some well versed professionals.

I've attached a trailer link for review and I'm looking forward to feedback. Thank You!

Looks engaging.

Much appreciated!

It looks great! Couple of thoughts- it might be worth spending a bit of money to get it graded properly, and to get a sound designer to take a look at the audio. Early on there's a lot of fuzz accompanying the dialogue which a plugin like iZotope RX would be able to help with, plus the dialogue generally could use a little bit of processing to make it sound more like a top end Hollywood show. Good luck with it!

Thanks for your input Joanna I'm currently working on those improvements!

I would second Joanna's suggestions - the editing is solid, good tentpole moments in the trailer, so it's definitely engaging like Shadow said. With that color grade and post sound mix, it'll be in a good place to show around!

My one question is - who is the guy asking to see his grandbaby? I'm not sure I understand how he fits in with the story, although his entrance definitely escalates the tension. I get the main three, though. Dude, his brother, and his best friend. Dude needs a job, his brother is young and impressionable, and his best friend is lying to his baby-mama about how he's making money. Solid story! Also, consider who the trailer is for - this is good for audiences, but not necessarily for investors. Do you have a written pitch or a "leave behind" that would have the short hand details?

Definitely reach out to our Director of Script Services, Jason Mirch, who is excellent at matching projects with potential executives (or managers, in your case): J.Mirch@stage32.com

Karen, thank you for your feedback! The guy asking about his grandbaby is the father of the three brothers. Its a story about the three brothers and how sudden unexpected wealth effects their blue collar lives. I have no written pitch as of yet but that will be something I plan on addressing shortly. Thanks again!

Sure thing! I would highly recommend using Stage 32's free Pitching Guidebook to help you structure your pitch, whether it is a 2-page pitch document, a 5-minute verbal pitch, or a 15-30page pitch deck: https://www.stage32.com/sites/stage32.com/themes/two/pdfs/happy-writers/...

Kumali, thanks for sharing your work.

I watched your trailer (a 2:03 Visual Pitch to your intend audience) twice.

I perceive mountains of conflict, multiple dilemmas, and very difficult resolutions for your cast of characters. I would like to watch your TV show 'Coins' so let me know when it premieres.
