Hi, Thea Touchton. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Distribution Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge because it’s promotion, and because it sounds like you're looking to connect with someone to help you find distribution for your documentary.

You can post your promotion in one of the main Lounges (Distribution Lounge, Filmmaking/Directing Lounge, etc.) if your post starts a conversation that’s helpful and educational to the community.

Example: If you post about your film in the Distribution Lounge, within that post you could start a discussion by asking if anyone knows of any distribution options for documentaries, asking filmmakers to share their experiences with getting their documentaries distributed, etc. This doesn’t have to be long, just something that starts a conversation that’s helpful and educational.

You can also post your promotion in one of the main Lounges if you're asking for feedback.

If you're posting your trailer for feedback, it depends on what kind of feedback you want. Example: If you want feedback on the editing of your trailer, post it in the Post-Production Lounge.
