Do you (or your company) work with Recruited Audience Screening (RAS) or something similar? I know some Dutch companies work with special agencies that organize those events. I know that certain organizations charge quite a lot of money to organize such a screening. I myself doubt the reliability of such actions. I've seen too many films that were a success according to pre-screening, but flopped upon release. It's the same the other way around: the mixed audience didn't like it at the screening, and after launch the film became successful.
What is your idea about this?

I think there is value to test screenings, especially at the studio level where they are dedicated to a certain marketing spend and are trying to use any tools in their kits to plan their release strategy. With indies, it's all about selling the film and finding a path to distribution so spending that energy and money on a test screening may not be the same value proposition.
