That was interesting. It's not the complete picture but it is a reality check and I learnt new things about what NOT to do. I have friends who churn out 1 feature film almost every year. They also enter film festivals, which in turn often give them a percentage of the revenue based on ticket numbers of those who see their films.
Real topic should've been on how indie filmmakers come to money they invest into movies? Don't ever do that with your personal cash :)))
I'll go on a blank and say in Europe some 90 percent of the filmmakers are considered independent...how much of them have full time jobs/careers aside filmmaking? 90%.
