I wrote a Hallmark-type Christmas script and was able to get the interest of a Hallmark actress. I'm wondering how I should go about getting this in front of producers or get some financing together before trying to pitch it. Any thoughts would be super helpful and mucho appreciated.

Hi Steven! From what I understand, the only legal sources of funding before pitching the project are: a. submit it to contests, b. submit it to a grant, c. ask for a loan, d. find a private investor close to you, e. make your star appeal to her contacts or f. start a crowdfunding campaign. Producers will always ask you for a pitch. Good luck!
