The Danish Government will allocate $17.5m annually, to its rebate scheme.
It seems that Europe is ramping up the incentives for film production companies. I’m not sure how many High-End productions could be made with that fund, but it would be interesting to know the details of the spend needed to get the tax relief.
What are your feelings about this? Would American production companies be tempted to film in Denmark?

With so many places launching/ramping up incentives, you've got to wonder what's California thinking?

It's a global industry and we must all work as one. American companies - or any nation's companies - will go where the best deal and crew and infrastructure is as long as it suits the creative needs of the production. And in growth, local productions can be exported to the world with more ease than ever. This is a good move by Denmark.

Great to see more and more locations realizing the value to their economy and local film and tv industry in providing stable, clear, consistent film tax credit and incentives offerings.

Jack Binder thanks Jack, it is very refreshing to see this approach. I hope that many indie filmmakers will now begin to think globally about their projects and stories too.
