I have an option agreement on a book that was released this past March (I Will Ruin You: The Twisted Truth Behind The Kit Martin Murder Trial). I negotiated an option agreement on another book I wrote with an independent writer/producer. This one is with a film studio known for documentary series with major streamers. I'm considering hiring an attorney for this one. For one, this project has a good opportunity of getting produced. Secondly, they have agreed to offer me producer credit for the series and participation in the development. Any suggestions on an entertainment attorney I can contact who charges a reasonable rate?
