Hello all and thank you for any input you send my way! I am a singer/songwriter, wacky entertainer and after hitting rock bottom in March of 2019, I have completely transformed my mindset...and I am back with a vengeance!
Friends in the biz tell me that I should find an agency or PR firm or whatever to help push what I am doing. My brand is Lean In And Dominate. Think Joe Rogan meets Gary V.! haha
Should I look for representation now or wait a bit and build my new brand?
What types of representation do you recommend these days? PR, Marketing, Talent Agent, Ent. Attorney?
Thank you!
Darryn

Hey, Darryn Yates! Nice to meet you! Oh, man, your post slipped right through my... feed? Something like that LOL!
First off, welcome back - I can totally relate to hitting rock bottom. Interestingly right around that same time! Second, there are lots of conversations about the difference between those four. If you go to the Lounges Home Page ("All Lounges") there is a search bar that will allow you to flip through - I tried "representation" and came up with this gem: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting/Representation-4
And "manager versus agent" which reminded me of this Entertainment Lawyer who recently joined Stage32: https://www.stage32.com/profile/99011/about Maybe chat him up about what your next steps should be?
I'd love for you to jump into the Acting Lounge and share about your time as a presenter - being on-screen talent can take many forms, and I know our members would love to learn from your experience! https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting
